Who controls your data

Geco Web SRL is the data controller for DanceLogo unless a notice at the point of collection says otherwise.

Data we collect

Account and profile data

Your name, email address, password in protected hashed form, account preferences, sign-in records and communications with us. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive the basic account information the provider makes available for authentication.

Contact and support data

When you use the contact form, we process the name, email address, selected topic and message you submit, together with a non-sequential reference and submission time. We send the request to DanceLogo Support and send one transactional acknowledgment to the submitted address; this acknowledgment is not a marketing subscription.

Projects and service activity

Uploaded source assets and their technical metadata, validated editor settings, selected effects, preview thumbnails when available, created and modified dates, and actions needed to save and manage your projects. Final rendered video files are not intended to be stored in WordPress or our object storage.

Technical and security data

IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, server logs, cookie identifiers, short-lived signed form data, opaque hashed rate-limit identifiers and minimal delivery status needed to detect errors, protect accounts and prevent abuse. When registration or the contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, Cloudflare processes technical signals needed to assess whether the request is legitimate.

Billing data

If paid checkout is enabled and you make a purchase, we may receive a Stripe customer and transaction reference, plan or product, subscription status, billing country, tax status, totals and invoice information. Stripe processes payment-card details; DanceLogo does not store full card numbers.

How and why we use it

Assets, projects and browser rendering

Animation rendering and downloads are designed to happen in your browser. A temporary recovery copy may be kept in your browser’s local storage to protect unsaved work after a network failure. Saved DanceLogo projects are private to your account and store editor settings and an optional preview thumbnail on our server.

Assets added to My Assets are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage and delivered through our content-delivery domain so the browser editor can load them. Their object URLs are public and difficult to guess, but anyone who receives an exact URL may be able to view the file. Do not upload confidential material. Deleting an asset requests deletion of its stored object and permanently deletes animations that depend on it.

Cookies and local storage

DanceLogo uses necessary cookies for account sessions, security and remembering your cookie choice. Optional cookies require a choice where the law requires it. Read the Cookie Policy or use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice.

Service providers and data sharing

We disclose personal data only where needed to operate DanceLogo, comply with law, or protect rights and security. Depending on the features you use, recipients may include our hosting and infrastructure providers, Cloudflare for asset object storage, delivery and Turnstile registration- and contact-form-abuse prevention, Stripe for checkout and billing, Google when you choose Google sign-in, email-delivery providers, and professional advisers or authorities where legally required.

We do not sell personal data. If optional advertising or analytics services are added, they must remain disabled until the required consent is obtained.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You can contact us for more information about applicable safeguards.

Retention

We keep account, uploaded asset and project data while your account is active and for only as long afterward as reasonably needed for deletion, security, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Financial and tax records may be retained for the period required by Romanian and EU law. Security logs are kept for a limited operational period. Your cookie preference is stored for up to 180 days unless you clear it sooner.

Contact-form recovery data, signed-form identifiers, duplicate controls and delivery states are temporary. Opaque rate-limit counters expire with their active security window, ordinarily from minutes to one day. Contact messages and their transactional email records may remain in the support and delivery systems only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain security, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a portable copy of your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier processing unlawful.

Registered users can request permanent account and saved-project deletion from Account Settings. A short-lived confirmation link is sent to the verified account email. Active or unresolved subscriptions must be managed before deletion, and financial records may still be retained where legally required.

You may also complain to the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) or the supervisory authority where you live or work. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Security

We use proportionate technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, protected account credentials and encrypted transport. No internet service is completely risk-free, so please use a unique password and protect access to your device.

Children

DanceLogo is not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent to an online service in their country. If you believe a child provided personal data without the required authorization, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Policy changes

We may update this Policy when DanceLogo or legal requirements change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate. The related Terms and Conditions also apply to use of the service.
