What is the difference between assets and projects?

An asset is an uploaded logo, photo or icon stored in My Assets. A project is a saved animation state in My Animations that references a source and stores its mode, animation effect, canvas, background, sound and export settings.

Before you start

  • Sign in to view account-owned assets and projects.

Where assets and projects live

  1. Use My Assets to review reusable source files, formats and dimensions.
  2. Use My Animations to reopen saved animation settings and previews.
  3. Create several projects from one asset when you need different motions or deliveries.
  4. Review dependencies before removing a reusable source.

Expected result

Sources remain reusable while projects keep independent creative settings and render history.

Common problems

  • Deleting a project does not automatically delete its source asset.
