Uploads are rejected when the source type is unsupported, the prepared file exceeds the stored limits, pixel dimensions are invalid, an SVG contains unsafe content, or the browser cannot decode the source.

Before you start

  • Note the exact message shown by the upload area.

Steps

  1. Confirm the source is PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG; convert browser-incompatible HEIC files first.
  2. For raster sources, reduce the dimensions or file size and try again.
  3. For SVG, remove scripts, embedded external content and event attributes, then export a clean vector file.
  4. Reload Studio and retry once if a network request was interrupted.
  5. Contact support with the file type, dimensions and exact error if the verified source still fails.

Expected result

A valid prepared asset opens in Studio and is available for saving to My Assets.

Common problems

  • Do not send a confidential source file through support unless the support team explicitly requests a safe transfer method.
