Preview and performance

Why preview and export may look or play differently

Preview is optimized for responsive editing and can reduce work for dense fragment or duplicate effects. Export renders the chosen dimensions and frame rate as exact local frames, so timing and detail can differ from real-time tab playback.

Before you start

  • Use the same saved project when comparing preview and export.

Steps

  1. Preview the complete sequence and save the project.
  2. Choose the intended export size and 12, 24 or 30 fps.
  3. Render a short destination-appropriate version before a larger final file.
  4. Test the result in the app or browser that will deliver it.
  5. Return to the saved project and adjust only after comparing the encoded result.

Expected result

You make creative decisions from the full preview while validating final timing and detail in the actual encoded file.

Common problems

  • Website or social platforms may add their own compression after DanceLogo export.
